Busy........

well as you can tell I have not been on here is awhile.

my new job is going good, I went to Atlanta 12-9 for training and I was sick the whole time I was there. my family flew up on Friday for the company Christmas party on Saturday. We flew home on Sunday and it was the trip from Hell. Nothing seem to go right on that day. We finally made it home at 2 a.m. and Rocky had to go to work at 3 a.m. ( oh yeah and our heater was out and it was sleeting!)

The company Christmas party was awesome. good food, and friends.

OK, yes I know I have not been on here is forever.........

I have been sick for over a week now and it stinks.
I got a new job last Monday, I think I am really going to like it.
I do miss the PO PO though.
I have to drive now, but everyone needs sometime to their self. The traffic is not too bad. ( driving to Bentonville)
Darrick had basketball practice Saturday after Turkey day, and they had open gym on Sunday.
Kids are good, we put up the Christmas tree on Sunday night. So far the cat has left it alone. LOL
Darrick had a basketball game on last night, we lost by 14 I think. we play again on Thursday night.

11-5-08 Sick Day.........
I was home today, not feelin well.


11-6-08 Last jr high football game.......
Today was the last jr high football game of the season. Home game vs Prairie Grove.
After school we had the 9th graders a pizza party. and boy can they put the pizza away.
At beginning of the game ALL of the 9th graders went onto the field for the coin toss, and yes I did cry. The game was really good, D. scored 2 TD's and 1 interceptions. We won 13-6. good way to end the season. Basketball practice starts tomorrow. D is moving up to play high school football, he starts practice Monday after school.


11-7-08 Last high school football game..............
We went to PG for the football game. We won. We get the 1st playoff game at Gravette on 11-14-08. D will be dressing out with the high school team for this game( I hope he gets to play)

11-8-08 Gravette Cheer comp. @ Siloam Springs HS..........
this was fun, never been to one before. Gravette got 2nd place. some of the other teams were really good.

GO VOTE !!!
I went this morning with my daughter, this is her 1st year to be able to vote.

Walked 2 miles last night, still trying to loose weight, I just need to eat better.
Well today is the day D gets to order his high school Letterman's jacket, $192.00
I am flat broke now. Bread and water the rest of the week LOL ( hey, maybe I will loose weight)
In 3 wks we have to pay for basketball shoes $90.00.

KIDS, gotta love them!
Oh well I wouldn't have it any other way.

Tomorrow, ordering D's high school letter jacket, that is going to kill my pocketbook.

10-31-08 Friday, Happy Halloween !!

Worked all day, went to High school pep rally.

Went to the high school football game , we beat Berryville !

Went to my friends house for a scary movie and ate lots of junk food. D scared the cheerleaders !

Got home at 2:30 am.

11-1-08 Saturday

Went to my nephew's last soccer game, he sat on the bench the whole time. He is SO cute.

Cleaned house. Took down the Halloween decorations.

Went with D and 6 of his friends to haunted houses, then came back to our house and watched the new Halloween movie. Went to bed at 3 a.m. the dog woke me up at 4 a.m. and the boys were still all up at 5 a.m.

I got up at 8 am because of the dog and made pancakes and sausage for the boys.

tried napping during the day, did not work. Got a really bad headache.

Game day

10-30-08

Today is game day, we are going to Berryville to play jr high football.

D is very nervous, 3 of the starters have been hurt. He is thinking he is next. I told him to just RUN FAST ! ( I am praying he is not next)

I hate the drive to Berryville, I always get car sick. hopefully not today though. I am nervous about the game. we need to win!

10-23-08.........
D was nervous all day about the football game vs SC.
Got to the game and man was it freezing. We had layers on and blankets. Oh and don't forget to hot coco. D scored on the 2nd play of the game a 77 yard TD!!
We scored 1st, then them, Tied at half time. I don't know what happened the 2nd half of the game, but it went to crap.( and yes JB I was mouthing the ref's)
D ran for the en zone and a flag was thrown and his TD was called back, the ref's did not know why they threw a flag( Go figure) the flag was waved off, but we did not get the TD. D was pissed. Then D made an interception and ran for the en zone, and guess what??? YEP another flag. TD was no good. D ended up with 2 TD and 2- 2 pt conversions, reminder our QB is out and D was playing the QB and RB. ( He is a multi-player). we ended up loosing 14-30. O key player, ( blocker for D) got hurt at the end of the game. ( broken collar bone) He is out for 6 wks.

10-24-08 Friday night Football........
40/29 news came to G-Town to tailgate.
they were at the pep rally at school and got the kids pumped up for the football game.
We gave it our all, but no one can win against a team who has the ref's on their side.
SC needs to be in a conference all their own.

10-25-08 Saturday......
Me and Ashley went shopping, we ate lunch at PF Chang, had fun. I bought an orange clutch type purse, CUTE!
D went to a 9th graders only Halloween Party, he had a really good time.
Rocky went to the Razorbacks game.

10-26-08 Sunday Picture day........
me and the kids had pictures taken with an awesome photographer- Kim Durham.

Ate dinner at subway, 5 dollar foot longs, can't beat that.

10-27-08 YUK Monday....... freezing
D had football practice this morning in the freezing cold. He did not like that.
Went to work.
Sister in law got out of the hospital is at home and her appetite is coming back finally.

10-28-08 Tuesday still cold........
D did not want to go to football practice this morning. too cold. and I don't blame him. I did not want to get out of bed either.
went home for lunch and put on a big crock pot of chili for dinner.
Work was busy and I like to be busy, makes the day go by faster.
Talan- my nephew had his 2nd to last soccer game. He tried to play alittle, but not much.
His last game is on Saturday at 10 am.

10-29-08 Wednesday...... hump day
another cold football practice morning. D took a sweat shirt for practice.
Lunch went home and had lunch with Ashley before she went to work.
Dinner we will be having left over chili- chili dogs.( got to love leftovers)
Tonight I will be helping my hubby pack for his weekend guard drill.
Tomorrow we go to Berryville for jr high football. ( keep your fingers crossed that we win)

OMG I almost forgot!
D got asked to play up on the high school football team when his last 2 games on jr high are over!
You go D ! You the MAN !

Well, I have been a slacker again on my blog,
Thursday 10-16-08
D was pumped up for the football game as soon as he got out of bed.
We had 2 players get hurt during the game, a linemen broke his hand and our QB hurt his knee. He will be having an MRI, hopefully nothing in damaged.

Friday, 10-17-08 my sister in law got put back in the hospital, she is not doing good.
We went to the HS football game at Farmington Friday night, we won it was a really good game.

Saturday, 10-19-08
Watched my nephew play soccer in the AM, actually he did not play, he just sat on the bench drinking his water. ( HE is soo cute)
Spent most of the day at the hosp.Sat. night D had his girl over and we watched a scary movie,(SHUTTER) It was not good. I do not recommend it.

Sunday, 10-19-08
took some friends to lunch at AQ chicken then went to the hosp. Stayed there until approx. 7pm. then headed home.
Oh and in between all of this tried to do laundry and clean house.

Monday, 10-20-08
Just another Monday, went to work, went home, worked in the concession stand for the 8th grade and jv football game. We beat Farmington. (NOTE) our linemen who was hurt last week is having surgery this Thursday. Still waiting on MRI of QB.

Tuesday, 10-21-08
Took my son to football at 6AM, they wanted to watch the Shiloh football film.
D is PUMPED about this weeks game vs Shiloh.
Worked, went home made dinner, laundry.....
Should have went to the PTO meeting but decided I needed to walk instead.
I walked 2 miles and my friend made me walk bleachers too. up one side and down the other.
I will probably be sore tomorrow.
QB went to have MRI knee still swollen.

Wednesday, 10-22-08
Ok today is not starting off good, ( I think there is a FULL MOON )
People need to be nice.............
Starting a new diet... ( wish me luck)
No pop....... yikes !!!
Getting my toes done tonight, yah ( my fav)
Jr high football tomorrow at Shiloh.
hoping the rest of the day goes by good with no altercations.

GAME day

Well TODAY is the BIG game day.................. Gravette Jr high lions vs Farmington Cards.

My son ( D) was really nervous when he got up today. He does that when its an important game. Not that they all aren't important. both teams are undefeated until tonight! He will be PUMPED up when I get him from school though. all the boys talk about on game days is football, I sure hope they did good on their 9wks test too.

Of course mom and dad are PUMPED up too! We absolutely LOVE football season !
and LOVE to watch our # 38 running back making touchdowns !

It was a good day with the dog, no opps today! ( KEEP YOUR FINGERS CROSSED)

Tomorrow you will know who won the football game, I am hoping it is us! ( sorry JB)

Wednesday rain... rain... go away

My son D is getting pumped up for the jr high football game tomorrow vs Farmington.
Both teams are undefeated.
Who will be the WINNER! we will have to wait and see.
I am about to kill my daughters dog, she had ANOTHER mess in her kennel today when I was home on MY lunch break. I think I am going to stop going home for lunch. LOL
really I am so sick of this dog. My daughter is in college full time and works part time and dont even have time for the dog, we have tried telling her but she is not listening.
It would be so much easier without the dog.
ANY SUGGESTIONS ???? ( telling her is has to go is like hell)
My husband has a check up tomorrow on his ears, hope all is good there.
HEY JB, we need to see if we can get a 2 for 1 discount on tubes. LOL

Crazy Monday

Ok, No one likes Mondays.........

We all get up late and then try to rush around to make it where we need to go on time.
Had trouble getting D up this morning, I mentioned football practice and he popped right out of bed.
Ran out of mayo while I was making his school lunch.
at lunch time I had to run to his school and take him a drink, all the pop machines at the school were out of pop.
I got home for lunch and my daughters dog had made a OPPS! in her cage. So I got to clean that up, and then finally eat my lunch.
Never the less it was a MONDAY for Hades.

Tuesday is going to be better I hope!

Catch up

ok, I know I have not been on here is a week. I am a slacker. I will try to do better.
My sister in law is home and doing good. R ear surgery went well. he has a check up on Thursday.
10-9-08:
D's football game was exciting, we won 22-6. He had 2 tochdowns. Next week's game is going to be really good. ( we are undefeated) 5-0
10-10-08:
Went to the H.S. football game. was a little chilly out side, I think I may have to retire my flip flops for the season, but I'm not wanting to give them up just yet.
10-11-08:
We went to my nephew 1st soccer game, he was so funny, he did not want to play, he just wanted his snacks. ( he is only 3) He looked so cute in his uniform.
10-12-08:
Went to my moms for a football day, my team lost. Sat around and ate lots of junk food. Went to a school booster club meeting. Learned that the Jr. high volleyball team went undefeated. Watched all my Sunday night shows, Brothers and sisters, Army wives.

Wednesday

Today we had to go to the hospital, my sister in law is having surgery.
It was a long day, waiting and waiting. Surgery took 4 and 1/2 hours. recovery was 1 hour, we finally got to see her at 8pm . She was still half out of it. but seemed ok.
Hopefully this will take care of all of her problems. I pray it will.

Ate dinner with the family at Olive garden.
Ashley, Darrick, Haley, Heather, Rocky and my father in law from FL Dave.

Had a nice time at dinner.

Got home around 1030 pm in bed by 11pm.

Crazy week

This week started off crazy......


My sister-in-law is having surgery, my father-in-law in coming in from FL. my son has a football game, and I have to work and still do the house work.








I am new at this blogging thing, so bare with me.


My good Friend JB is teaching me how to do this. Her blogs are awesome.
